Adult Singing, Group Classes

Highly popular Adult Singing Classes return on 28th March at The Vocal Academy in Leixlip.

Who Takes Part In The Classes?
People who have previously taken part include:
• those who have never sang in public before,
• those who sing in choirs but haven’t had the opportunity to take a solo part,
• those who have taken roles in Musical Theatre under the cloak of a ‘role’ but wanted to take the stage as ‘themselves’
• those who ‘do sing’ but want to improve and value professional guidance and the opportunity to prove to themselves that they can DO IT!

Who Are The Classes Intended For?
Pretty much anybody who wants to sing! The idea for this group is primarily to have some fun, learn some technique under the watchful eye of a Vocal professional (IVA Certified, Vocal Technique Teacher) and see what happens.

How Long Does The Course Last?
The course is 8 weeks plus Showcase

How Old Do I Have To Be?
18+

How Old is ‘Too Old’?
If you’re unable to climb a flight of stairs this may impinge on your ability to attend, that and/or you are over 142 years of age! 🙂

Do I Need Experience?
This group mostly suits beginners to intermediate level. If you are very experienced you may wish to wait for a group that caters exclusively for experienced singers or do one to one lessons. If you consider yourself to be ‘experienced’ and still wish to sign up you are most welcome.

How Much Does It Cost?
The cost for the 8 weeks is €165. This includes, 8 Classes on Tuesday evenings, 1 Private Lesson (to be taken when you wish, before the end of the course – subject to availability) and of course the Showcase Evening!

How Do I Book My Place and Where Are The Classes?
You can book your place with a deposit of €50 to secure the place. The rest is due on the first night of the Course. Adult Singing Group Classes are held at The Vocal Academy, 70 Main Street, Leixlip, Co. Kildare.
