The VMA is a special place. My shy daughter felt comfortable to sing and play music in front of her peers and their families by the last day of the camp, we couldn’t believe it. Now she’s been to two camps and looking forward to starting voice coaching and guitar lessons.So happy to have a place like this in our area. ❤️
My daughter took part in the Teen Jam Camp and absolutely loved it. It was great to see the teens performance at the end of the week and how much they had all grown in confidence.

David is a top guitar teacher. Ive recently gone back playing guitar after a 20 year break and lovng it. Highly recommend this to anyone thinking of getting back to guitar!
Thank you Bobby for creating the most enjoyable week of musical summer camp. My son Adam participated in the Wicked the Musical summer camp. Adam loved every minute there. It gave him the confidence to learn new skills and meet so many lovely children from the Summer camp. Each child got to perform on stage and sing. The enthusiasm and encouragement that was given to each child by Bobby is incredible. Bobby gave each child the confidence and self belief to sing songs as individuals and as part of the group. Michelle has been great with my daughter in helping her vocals and confidence . They are very flexible with times & appointments. My daughter finds Gleexlip great fun.
Aoife had her first singing lesson with the pop choir with Teacher Michelle and really loved the experience and is already looking forward to next weeks lesson.
Niamh attends Pop Choir every Tuesday afternoon. She loves it. Great for confidence and mixing with other children. Would highly recommend.

Super happy with my singing lessons with Bobby – both in a group-setting and one-to-one! He’s great at explaining what’s going on with my voice when it’s not doing what I want it to do. This has greatly helped me with understanding the purpose of different exercises and techniques, which makes me more motivated to practice outside of classes too!
David is a great teacher , he makes learning fun and relevant to the student . My teen skips into the lesson and always happy coming out. David puts the work in so that my teen can learn the music they love. They have now also started creating their own music and is also flying it with the junior very practical thanks to his help. Very happy with his lessons. Highly reccomend 😊
I’ve recently joined The Vocal and Music Academy in Leixlip . Learning to sing , and having the confidence to do so is really important to me , and something I have longed to do for some time . Bobby is my one on one singing tutor. I’m really enjoying the weekly class , Bobby is excellent and also a most patient down to earth teacher , who provides a lovely relaxed singing environment for me . I’m really enjoying ‘learning to sing ‘ with Bobby . Sometimes we need a push to get up and do things ( outside of our comfort zone ) , I’m delighted I’ve found The Vocal and Music Academy on my doorstep, YOU will be too , so make that call !!!!

Two lessons in with Bobby and I'm loving every second. He is fun, patient and really encouraging. I was very nervous about starting vocal coaching in my 30s but Bobby makes it so relaxed and easy - even via Zoom!
My son as been learning Ukulele & Guitar with David Mc Donald for the past 4 years. David has brought him on in leaps & bounds improving his playing and his confidence hugely to such an extent he played live for his primary school graduation in front of all the parents at NKETS.It is great to see him coming home absolutely buzzing from his weekly music lesson.
I have been taking guitar lessons from David for a couple of years and would highly recommend him. He has a wealth of knowledge and experience and is very flexible in adapting to my needs. He can change between formal graded exams to more freestyle approach as he is familiar with most genres of music.
Great place to enjoy learning music. I really enjoy my ukulele lessons with David. They are tailored to challenge while being very enjoyable and focus on learning new skills while enjoying the music I love. Recently due to unforeseen circumstances I couldn’t play the ukulele but I was able to switch to singing with Michelle which is also very enjoyable while overcoming challenges.

Dave is such an excellent guitar teacher. Not only has my son learned so much but his love for playing the guitar and confidence has soared. A really positive experience all around and I would strongly recommend booking in to see for yourself.
Great place .. my daughter has taken singing lessons here for a few years. She absolutely loves Bobby - he has given her so much confidence. Her voice has improved so much but most of all she looks forward to her lessons every week as Bobby makes them so much fun!

Bobby is a brilliant teacher. In only a couple of lessons he was able to show me how to open up my voice in ways I didn’t think possible before. The classes feel completely tailored to my needs and move at the right pace. Highly recommended.
I enjoy singing only as a hobby and in one of my YOLO moments, I decided I wanted to have my voice professionally assessed. I searched through google and booked my first lesson with Bobby. Let me tell you, it is one of the best decisions I have ever made!! I was super nervous but Bobby was so friendly and welcoming, I relaxed within the first few minutes. Bobby absolutely has a wealth of knowledge about his craft and he immediately knew what areas in my singing I could improve. After the class ended, I watched the recorded lesson and did the practice scales again. Just doing the one trick of adding “resistance” allowed me to sing a higher pitched song that I struggled to reach for weeks!! Of course, I didn’t hit it perfectly but I brushed on it without strain and struggle and I literally squealed in amazement!! I sang for the rest of the day after that 😅 Thank you so much Bobby and I’m excited to learn from you in my future classes!!
I took my first singing lessons (at 35 years old!!!) with Bobby at the vocal academy and I'm so glad I did! Bobby has a wealth of musical experience and knowledge and at week 3 I am already learning so much about singing and my voice.
