All the preparation is nearly done! All the songs have been chosen! (Nearly) all the talk has been talked!… well there’ll probably be a lot more of that in all fairness… We are just about ready to Rock the Rock!!
Drum Roll Please… We are DELIGHTED to annouce that the beautiful Salmon Leap Inn will once again host the Showcase for The Vocal Academy’s brave souls of The Adult Singing Group.

The night is free of charge and again we would be so, so grateful for folk to drop in and give whatever encouragement they can to our six wonderful singers who have been working relentlessly to basically get their sh!t together in order to either exercise some demons, or bring themselves further along or just flat out be a Rock n Roll Star for the evening.
This time around we are using predominantly live music with Vocal Academy teachers, David McDonald and Diarmuid Coffey providing the live feel and sound.
And for this particular course we’ve worked more on backing, harmonisations and some dynamics that we hadn’t really touched on before, so it has been a challenge for some of the stalwarths of the group as well as for some of the new singers this time around.
All we need do now is work on polishing off a few bits and pieces and look forward to our show!
