From January 2023 The Vocal Academy is changing its name to…
The Vocal Academy came to being in December 2013 as an independent studio who’s purpose was to guide our students to vocal balance and healthy vocal technique. It has served the community of Leixlip, neighbouring towns and indeed further afield (both nationally and internationally) well over the past 10 years.
Over time we have added Piano, Guitar, Ukulele and Tin Whistle to our core service and we have ambitions to add more as we grow. We have also provided or curated:
- Group classes
- Couch to Performance/Adult Singing Groups
- Choirs
- Speaking Technique
- Open Mic Nights
- Performance Workshops, and into many other services and areas.
For some time now we’ve felt we have been outgrowing our original name and mandate.
This rebrand is a testament to our students and to our teachers who have worked so hard to keep walking forward, sometimes in the face of adversity but always with focus and determination. It is also a testament to the support and loyalty we have enjoyed over the last 10 years from the Community at large.
To coincide with the name change there are a few things happening behind the scenes which will enable us to become even more Community focussed and more visible over the coming years so please follow our social media (links below) for quick updates .
