The team at the VMA are super excited to be hosting these three amazing camps this summer.
Teen Summer Jam – A space for musicians and vocalists with some experience to come together weekly and collaborate on some cover songs and take part in writing their own song. Each week they will get an insight into how to make music with other people, how to put a set list together and focus on the skills that are outside the day to day practice they need to do to master their instrument.
Kids Rock – A lighter version of Teen Band Jam, there will be more emphasis on working with their instrument and depending on the number of participants working together in smaller groups.
Wicked Musical Vocal Camp – The amazing camp will focus on the music from Wicked the Musical. Our singers will be challenged to perform some of the shows most iconic ensemble numbers. We will deep dive into the habits of professional musical theatre performers and at the end of the week we will perform some of the music we will have worked on during the camp.

Fee: €130 or €20 weekly

This week is suitable for musicians of intermediate level 12-16 years.
KIDS ROCK CAMP

Time: 10:30am – 2pm
Venue: VMA, Croí Laighean Developemental Park, Easton Road, Leixlip W23 X9RP
Fee: €150 (deposit €50)
Get a taste of the rock n roll lifestyle for a week with industry professionals and experienced instructors. Learn to write songs, cover some of the greatest songs ever written and perform it all at the end of the week. No experience necessary.
This week is suitable for musicians of any level 9-12 years.
