Alex Sánchez de Orduña was born in León (Spain) in 1993 and since a very young age he had an unquestionable interest in the world of music and, especially, in drums. He started taking drum lessons at the age of 7 at the Municipal School of Dance, Music and Performing Arts in León with the teacher, Ángel González. Within this school, he began his career on the stage at the age of 11, having performed and being finalist in the “Veo Veo” awards both in 2003 and 2004.

In 2009, he formed the band “Speedway” with which he began to gain some visibility in the musical circle from his hometown and was finalist in 2010 in the first “Musicaula” band contest. After the dissolution of “Speedway”, Alex played as session drummer in some different bands from León until he came across “Katarsis” in 2016, a band based in Palencia, and recorded his first studio works, “Camino a la razón” and “Odisea” in 2017 and 2018 respectively.

Alex has been living in Dublin since 2018, moving here to seek new experiences and new musical horizons, and additionally, he was admitted to study an HND in Contemporary Music and Performance in Ballyfermont College of Further Education. There, he started playing with the local band “Elevation falls”, playing all over Ireland. In 2019, they recorded “Haetfull attraction”, a single which takes them on tour to Germany and England. Nowadays, he continues working with “Elevation falls” and joined the Irish pop band “Oh Bryan” with whom he is currently touring through Ireland.
