Katie Mai is a singer and pianist, hailing from the beautiful Donegal. She has been on the stage since she was 3 years old and has been playing piano for over 15 years. She is currently studying music in Maynooth University and has been teaching piano for 6 years.

Katie Mai began her musical journey in various competitions and showcases in her hometown of Carndonagh leading into taking the lead roles in many musicals, most recently playing Chutney in Legally Blonde! She has received multiple high achievers awards in singing, piano and recorder, and was even the first Ulster finalist for Junk Kotures Sing in the Millenium Forum.

Katie Mai started her teaching career at age 15 and has led multiple students through various exams and showcases. The most important thing for her is to make sure her students love the instrument that they’re learning while also devolving an efficiency in the instrument. Katie Mai’s experience make for a fun and safe teaching environment in which students can develop the confidence to perform and take their talent to the next level!
