Vocal Academy student Lynn Redmond is now in her 3rd year performing at TheatreWorx Christmas Panto, Jack & The Beanstalk which runs until January 10th.
For one so young, Lynn is a highly experienced performer having studied theatre at RADA in London, as well as performing at the Helix Lynn has also had 8 Tours with Costa Cruise Lines and has performed to 1,000’s of holiday makers from all over the world.
Her profession has take Lynn to the Mediterranean, The Adriatic, The Caribbean and South America. While it is a heavy schedule, Lynn absolutely loves her work, singing songs by one of her idols, Whitney Houston.
Lynn performs 4 nights per cruise, 2 Shows per night. It is tough but rewarding: “I love being on stage, seeing the world and actually getting paid for this!”
One of the benefits Lynn get’s from her training at the Vocal Academy is endurance. With a schedule that can be quite demanding it is imperative that a professional Singer/Dancer takes good care of themselves, drinks lots of water and exercises.
At the Vocal Academy, we are really proud of Lynn who is a great example to our younger students. Her application to her craft is exemplary. Lynn is perceptive, takes on board her training and understands that good vocal technique is a necessity if one wants to stand above the crowd in a very congested field.
